Conservation Areas in N21

on Monday, 04 January 2010. Posted in General

London N21 has four of the sixteen designated conservation areas within the Borough of Enfield:

Grange Park
Highlands
Vicars Moor Lane
Winchmore Hill Green

A Conservation Area Character Appraisal has been prepared for each of these areas by Enfield Council's conservation consultants, The Paul Drury Partnership, highlighting the qualities which make the area special. The reports, available here in PDF, make interesting reading, outlining the history of the area, with photographs illustrating architectural features of historical significance. The consultants also make recommendations on preservation of the unique qualities of the area.
