Zebras Club is a voluntary not for profit organisation that provides unique recreational services to disabled people and those who suffer mental health difficulties.
Our mission is to improve the lives of those with disabilities by providing recreational services, emotional support, advocacy and voluntary/employment opportunities. We aim to build a community which accepts diversity and individuality.
Currently we offer two recreational groups one for children- Zebras Childrens Club and the other our adult group- ZAG Zebras Adult Group. We also have many events throughout the year such as pamper evenings, family fundays and provide day trips for the children and their parent carers plus trips out for our adult group.
Zebras Club is Co- founded by Harriet Piercy and Jamie Ashton who are parent carers to their 10 year old autistic son, who was the inspiration for Zebra Club Being parent carers we value the importance of beneficial activities for both children and adults of whom would not always have the opportunity to interact and socialise without judgement and acceptance.
We are always looking for new people to join us, and are always in need of helpers so please do not hesitate in contacting us any time.
We meet at Boleyn Community Hall
