Woodcroft Wildspace

Woodcroft Wildspace (Reg. Charity No.1115921) is a local project which has turned a disused sports ground into a space for wildlife and plant life, for the whole community to enjoy.

On the four acre site we have an apiary, an orchard, wildlife ponds and it is somewhere for people to enjoy in peace and tranquility.

Woodcroft Wildspace is managed by a team of volunteers, led by Bob Ladell, who has successfully secured the long term future of the project, through the renegotiation of a long term lease on the website.

People of all ages have been involved in developing Woodcroft Wildspace and the site is used by a number of organisations as part of the Give & Gain.Business In The Community initiative.

Woodcroft Wildspace is open every day from 9am to 5.30.

We need volunteers to help with work on the land - light and heavier gardening. Full details can be found on our website.
