Winchmore Hill Quakers

Winchmore Hill Quakers have met in this beautiful meeting place for more than 300 years. Yet what we have to say is very up to date. We seek to be a friendly and open spiritual community, which welcomes everyone. Join us for worship every Sunday at 10.30 am, or for details of our other events please visit our web site.

We try to be an optimistic spiritual community in a divided and materialistic world.  We reject war and the threat of war.

Our worship based on silence speaks to many in a world overloaded with clamour.

Our openness to different spiritual insights allows us to draw on the strengths of our Christian roots while accepting many paths to God.We share responsibility across the whole group, men and women, we don't have leaders or professionals.

In the face of the environmental and economic crisis, we find the traditional Quaker emphasis on simple living comes into its own.

The Meeting House is available to let and our gardens are open to all to use as a place of beauty and reflection.
