The Friends of Grovelands Park

The Friends of Grovelands Park is a voluntary group dedicated to the conservation and enhancement of Grovelands Park, which lies at the heart of our local community.

We are all local residents who take great pleasure from the park and want to help maintain it as a leisure resource and wildlife habitat for people in the local area and future generations.

We liaise closely with groups using the park for recreation, and Enfield Council's Parks department and ensure that the Council's fulfils its obligations outlined in the Grovelands Park Management Plan, which you can view by clicking on the image.

The Friends of Grovelands Park were responsible for organising the highly successful Grovelands Park Centenary Weekend in May 2013, attended by thousands of local people.

To mark the centenary, an oak tree was planted, which will reach maturity in a hundred years - in time for the next centenary!

The Friends of Grovelands Park meet once a month to plan fundraising and other activities. We would welcome more members, membership is just £5 per year per household.

To join us, please send a £5 cheque payable to "Friends of Grovelands Park" to Mrs J Brownlee, Friends of Grovelands, 22 Stone Hall Road, Winchmore Hill, London N21 1LP

If you share our passion for our park please get in touch, we would welcome your support.
