The Orange Tree

The Orange Tree is an independent free house owned by Marie and John Maher, who are celebrating their 21st year in the pub in Highfield Road, across the road from Sainsbury's in Green Lanes.

As you can see from the picture, we are a very traditional English 'local', a pub where you can drop in and expect to find someone you know. We are renowned for our ales, as well as our warm welcome and quality pub grub. These are the reasons that we have won multiple CAMRA awards over the past ten years. You can find us in the latest CAMRA 2013 guide. On tap we have Greene King,IPA, Old Speckled Hen and a number of guest.beers, which change regularly.

We are an active member of our local community, providing something for everybody.

If you are a sports fan, we have screens showing all the big sporting events and you'll find plenty of people to share the game with. We have a pool table and Wednesday is Darts night. There is a Quiz Night every fortnight on a Thursday Night. Newcomers welcome.

Our beer garden has been described as a 'hidden gem'. It is large, with plenty of space for children to run around in, a climbing frame and a bouncing castle for Summer weekends.  Children are welcome during the day up till 9 pm in the evening.

Like all good pubs, food is an important part of our business. During the week home cooked food  is served from 12 noon - 2pm, a selection of freshly prepared sandwiches and hot meals; and our menu changes with the season.

Sunday Lunch at the Orange Tree is popular, so please book a table to ensure that you will be served. Available from 12 noon - 3.30pm.

We may be traditional but we keep up with the times and offer free Wi-Fi.

Our opening hourse are 12 noon to midnight (Monday to Thursday), 1am closing on Friday & Saturday; Sundays 12 noon to 11pm

Pop in and meet us, I think you'll get a taste for our traditional hospitality.
