Southgate Homebound and Disabled Association

Established in 1958, we are a fun and friendly club that helps those who are homebound and disabled in Southgate and the surrounding local area to enjoy a better life.

One Friday evening a month at Walker Hall, Southgate, members are provided with planned entertainment, tea and biscuits, and a chance to meet and chat with new friends.

Transport to and from the club night is guaranteed for all members, including those in wheelchairs, and everyone also receives a monthly newsletter.

In addition, we also arrange an annual cake-filled summer garden party, outing (which often involves visiting a local landmark or museum, or a relaxing river cruise) and in December we treat members to Christmas dinner at a local pub.

We provide all of this with no charge to members as we operate solely on donations.

We are always on the lookout for new members as well as volunteers to help with transport. If you know anyone that would like to join or could spare a few hours one Friday evening a month, please get in touch with Ian Woodall on 07505 120516.
