Red Bamboo

We are a family business, originally from Malysia and Hong Kong, offering a wide menu of classic Chinese dishes, for you to eat in or to take away. In October 2016, we moved from 869 to 879 Green Lanes, but continue to offer the same high quality food and service to our customers.

Here are some of our starters

Crispy duck & pancakes are a firm favourite

There is plenty to choose from, including vegetarian and gluten free dishes

We have introduced a wide range of gluten free dishes to our menu; items are either gluten free as prepared, or are modified to be gluten free. The following ingredients are used in Red Bamboo

gluten free sauce: chicken broth, oyster sauce, rice wine, sugar, water, wheat free soy sauce and white pepper. The marinades for beef, pork, chicken, shrimp and scallops are gluten free and contain cornstarch. This range can be eaten in Red Bamboo or available as a takeaway.

enjoyed our crispy duck and pancakes and the rest of the meal, back for a takeaway in a couple of weeks. New to the area and enjoying testing local restaurants.

Yum yum yum - really lovely food - all fresh and tasty. Best Chinese we've tried so far in Winchmore Hill.
