 My name is Denise Chester and I offer a range of Health, Fitness and Wellness programmes to women in Winchmore Hill and the surrounding areas of north London, helping them to live healthier lives whatever their age.




Women's empowerment, health and fitness is my thing; I know that making simple changes to how you eat and exercise can make an enormous difference to how you feel and to your long term health. Women can and should be fit at any age, but as our bodies change through life we need to approach our wellbeing in different ways. Trying to do what you did in your 20's when you are in your 50's is not be the best way forward!


I offer programmes in Nutrition, Hormone Balancing, and Pelvic Heath. To help women achieve all they want to with their health, with each of these programmes I offer a three-pronged approach: nutrition, exercise and lifestyle management. My programmes and courses include education, advice, demonstration and guidance in all three areas, so women can really move forward into more energy, weight loss, balanced hormones, clearer skin, and improved mental health. My 1-2-1 Hormone Balancing Programme is completely bespoke.


Diets don't work long-term, and good nutrition should never be about restrictions and what you can't have. It's about you and what you want to achieve and how your body responds to food. Food is meant to nourish us, to taste great, to give us energy, to allow our bodies to thrive under any circumstance and to help us to heal when we are suffering with poor health, illness or injury.I use this idea to help transform people's lives; so much talk around nutrition and food is about what we mustn't, shouldn't and can't have. I like to turn this around and look at it from a different viewpoint – what are we missing that we really should and can have. Not what can we take out, but what can we add in!


When we come from this starting point, instead of feeling like we are missing out on something, we feel like we are gaining, doing something really good for ourselves. We finally start to enjoy our food; it no longer seems like our enemy but our very good friend.




I help women to understand the science behind weight loss, especially as we age. Hormonal health is one of my specialisms and I support women through perimenopause, menopause and beyond. I also teach effective Core and Pelvic Floor exercise which can be particularly relevant around these times in a woman's life.


With all my clients I share knowledge and information, then we work together to decide the best way forward that will be practical, realistic and doable. All the information in the world is useless if you can't find a way to make it work for you. My aim is to help you learn to love food and movement again; good, nutritious, health-giving, nourishing food and appropriate exercise that will make you feel and look fantastic. At any time in your life.
