I'm Charlie Menegatos, the owner of Going Greek, which opened at 18 The Green in March 2019.
Why call the restaurant 'Going' Greek?
Because that's how we want you to feel right here in the heart of Winchmore Hill.
We would like you to dine with us and feel like you have been transported to the fragrant hillsides
of our forefathers' homeland, with the blue Aegean sparkling just beyond the pines.
Going Greek is a contemporary take on all that is good about the cuisine of my ancestory
- simple dishes, prepared with local ingredients, including succulent meats, the magical combination of
feta with oregano, mild creamy yogurts, hummus and, of course, our incomparable olive oil.
This beautiful building overlooking Winchmore Hill Green has been stripped back, creating a simple, yet stylish space for you to enjoy our extensive menu, with your friends and family.
Our menu can be viewed on our website, with takeaway available and delivery via Ubereats and Deliveroo
Here are some of our dishes which are already proving popular
Our gyros, souvlaki and kebabs are fresh, succulent and very tasty.
Our pitta is handmade in Greece, whilst our chips are made from top grade Maria Pipers for a consistently high crunch.
Vegetarians and vegans will find plenty to choose from at Going Greek.
Whether you're eating at our place or yours, we hope you'll agree with our belief; sometimes, Going Greek is the only way to go!
