Talkies Community Cinema coming to N21

Talkies Community Cinema is now well established in Palmers Green and Enfield Town. After recent sell-out performances in N14, we are gathering a regular following in Southgate.....it's about time we screened in N21!

We have featured flims by local artists; have brought back film classists as well as many rarely screened films, like the once in a lifetime opportunity to see the classic silent film version of Phantom. This is a sellout weeks before we are screening it! We try to make each evening special and memorable, for example the Phantom is a candle lit screening in Christ Church in Southgate, with live organ accompaniment  from David Hinnit and Adam Dickson, organists at the Christ Church.

We are currently planning our spring 2015 programme and would like to involve N21 residents in what we show and where we show. So if you could be interested in developing a group to make this happen in N21, please contact Talkies at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We are planning to hold a meeting to talk to volunteers about helping to screen films in WInchmore Hill. Talkies will sort out all the back office stuff to free you up to come up with bright ideas for great events that will enthuse your community!

Here are some of our earlier screenings
