Nikki's N21Easter Egg FUNdraising Day

on Monday, 14 April 2014. Posted in N21 Community

Hundreds of families took part in the N21 Live Local Spend Local Easter Egg Hunt and children's activities, to raise funds for a very special Winchmore Hill young lady.

Nine year old Nikki Christou, suffers from Cranial AVM, has had dozens of operations in Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital as well as pioneering surgery in America, as her condition is so rare. Her parents have set up the Butterfly AVM Charity,to raise funds to find a cure for this rare, but debilitaing disease. Nikki has won a number of awards for her bravery and the extraordinary fundraising campaign Nikki's parents Tanya and George have run with the help of their family and friends.

Over fifty local businesses donated money and time to raise money for this deserving family.
